Carda, Team USA Earn Silver at Pan Am's

TORONTO, Ontario, Canada - UCLA alum Ally Carda earned a silver medal with the U.S. Women's National Team at the 2015 Pan American Games.
Fresh off a gold medal appearance during her first international competition at the World Cup X earlier this month, Carda played in three contests in Toronto. She starred both at the plate and in the circle against Brazil on July 20, going 2-for-2 with two runs scored and an RBI double, while also tossing two innings of hitless relief with three strikeouts.
Carda would appear in two more contests against Cuba on July 22 (0-for-3, 1 IP) and the Dominican Republic on July 23 (0-for-1).
Next up for Carda and USA Softball is a trip to Japan for the Japan Cup (Aug. 7-9).
