Garrick Named 2nd Team All-America

NORMAN, Okla. - Junior Jonathan Garrick has been named a PING Second Team All-America, as announced by the GCAA. It marks the third All-America award for Garrick, who was named Honorable Mention in each of his first two seasons.
Garrick is coming off a junior campaign in which he led the Bruins with a 71.2 scoring average. Ranked 21st in the GolfWeek national rankings, Garrick helped the Bruins to a second straight appearance in the NCAA Match Play.
He finished in the Top 10 seven times during the 2014-2015 season, including a tie for third at the Pac-12 Championships and a third-place showing at NCAA Regionals. Garrick's 2015 awards also included a spot on the All-Pac-12 Conference First Team.
Garrick recently competed at the 54th Northeast Amateur Invitational (June 23-27) in Providence, R.I., where he finished in a tie for fifth.
