at Washington State (Oct. 15, 2016)
*Washington State became the first Bruin opponent this season to score more than 24 points in regulation time.
*UCLAโs road record under Coach Mora is now 18-9 and 13-7 inย regular seasonย road Pac-12 contests.
*Jayon Brown made his first career interception against Washington State in the second quarter. Brown added a team-best 10 tackles, 1.5 for loss and a sack.
*Takkarist McKinley recorded 1.0 tackles for loss, a sacks at WSU and has 8.0 tackles for loss in the last five contests.
*Wash. State gained 356 yards of total offense. It marks the sixth straight game that an opponent has failed to crack the 400-yard mark. The last time UCLA held six straight opponents to less than 400-yards of total offense was in 2010. The last time it held more than six straight opponents to less than 400 was in 2002 (8).
*UCLA has intercepted at least one pass in all but the Arizona game this season.
*Darren Andrews has caught at least two passes in each of the last 15 games (8 catches for 116 yards and two touchdowns at WSU). It is Andrewsโ second 100-yard game of the season (108 vs. Arizona). Over the last five games, Andrews has made 27 catches.
*UCLA was shut out in the first half of a game for the first time since an Oct. 19, 2013 contest at Stanford. UCLA trailed 0-3 at half in that game and lost 10-24.
*Mike Fafaulโs 22-yard touchdown pass to Darren Andrews in the third quarter was his first career scoring pass. He added a second touchdown pass in the fourth quarter to Jordan Lasley of five yards and a third of four yards to Darren Andrews, also in the fourth quarter. Fafaul was 24-40 for 258 yards and three touchdowns.
*In recent first starts by Bruin quarterbacks, the list of those players who have thrown three scoring passes include Josh Rosen โ 3 vs. Virginia in 2015; Ben Olson โ 3 vs. Utah in 2006; Scott McEwan โ 3 vs. Arizona State in 2001. Olson and Rosen each threw for over 300 yards in their initial starts.
*Washington Stateโs completion percentage of 58% was the highest by a Bruin opponent this season. Opponent completion percentages this season โ A&M 52% / UNLV 39% / BYU 53%/ Stanford 50% / Arizona 42%/ ASU 51% / WSU 58 %.
*Ishmael Adams, now with 57 kickoff returns moved past Jim McElroy, 1994-97 (54 returns), and into fifth on the all-time kickoff return list at UCLA during the Washington State game.
