UCLA GAME NOTES
*With the road win at Berkeley, the Bruins snapped streaks of 12 straight true road losses and 11 consecutive conference road setbacks. The last previous overall road win for the Bruins was a 17-14 verdict at BYU in the third game of the 2016 season. The last previous conference road victory came on Nov. 21, 2015 at Utah by a score of 17-9.
*UCLA has now won five of the last six meetings with California. The Bruins now lead the series games played in Berkeley by a 24-21 margin.
*Theo Howard has caught a pass in 22 straight games. Howard now has 93 career receptions and needs seven more to become the 25th 100-catch receiver in UCLA history.
*The 13-0 advantage over California was UCLA’s first halftime lead of the season.
*Joshua Kelley (157 rushing yards on 30 carries vs. Cal) is the first Bruin running back to record three straight 100-yard rushing games since Jordon James in 2013. The last Bruin back to have more than three straight 100-yard games was Tyler Ebell who had six straight 100-yard games versus conference opponents in the 2002 season.
*Kelley’s 157 yards, 30 carries and three touchdowns scored were career-best totals. The last Bruin back to rush for three scores in a game was Soso Jamabo in a 2016 contest vs. UNLV.
*Kelley’s total of 157 rushing yards was the most yards rushing by a Bruin back since Paul Perkins ran for 219 yards vs BYU in the 2015 season. His total of 30 carries is the most by a Bruin back since Johnathan Franklin had 30 in a 2010 game against Washington State. Tyler Ebell ran 31 times against Washington in 2002.
*Over the last two games, QB Dorian Thompson-Robinson has completed 40 of 53 passes for 75 percent - 27-38 (71%) against Washington and 13-15 (87%) against California.
*Kicker JJ Molson 3-3 fg versus California and has now connected on 16 of his last 18 field goal attempts over the past two seasons. With his 13 points scored today, Molson has moved up to 14th on the all-time UCLA scoring list. With 37 career field goals, Molson is eighth on that school career list.

*Linebackers Keisean Lucier-South and Krys Barnes each recorded their first career interceptions against Cal.
*The Bruins will host Arizona next week in the Rose Bowl on Saturday, Oct. 20 at 7:30 p.m.
