**True freshman running back Kazmeir Allen ran for a 74-yard touchdown in the third quarter. It was the third-longest run by a UCLA true freshman and the longest rush for a Bruin since Paul Perkins’ 82-yarder against Colorado on Oct. 31, 2015.
 
**Allen is just the fourth Bruin to rush for at least 100 yards in a game since Nov. 14, 2015 (Paul Perkins, 2015; Soso Jamabo, 2017; Bolu Olorunfunmi, 2017).
 
**Junior wide receiver Theo Howard caught a pass for the 17th game in a row. Redshirt sophomore tight end Jordan Wilson extended his consecutive games streak with a catch to eight.
 
**Redshirt senior defensive back Adarius Pickett (15), sophomore linebacker Jaelan Phillips (9) and sophomore defensive back Quentin Lake (9) all had career highs in tackles.
 
**The Bruins played in their 100th season opener tonight. UCLA saw its six-game winning streak at the Rose Bowl snapped, as well as its 10-game winning streak versus non-conference teams in Pasadena.
 
**Junior linebacker Lokeni Toailoa recorded the first sack of his career. The Bruins had four sacks as a team.
 
**Eleven true freshman played in tonight’s game (No. 2 Kyle Philips, No. 3 Rayshad Williams, No. 4 Stephan Blaylock, No. 7 Dorian Thompson-Robinson, No. 19 Allen, No. 23 Chase Cota, No. 26 Martell Irby, No. 50 Tyler Manoa, No. 56 Atonio Mafi, No. 76 Christaphany Murray, No. 91 Otito Ogbonnia).
