Postgame Notes - UCLA at Colorado (Sept. 28, 2018)

UCLA GAME NOTES

*Joshua Kelley recorded his first 100-yard rushing game as a Bruin after totaling 124 yards on 12 carries. He also had three receptions for 10 yards.

*Kicker JJ Molson, with three field goals (21, 50 and 40 yards at Colorado, has now converted his last nine straight attempts. He converted a career-best 50-yard attempt (previous long was 49 yards vs. Oregon State 2016) in the second quarter. He also matched his previous high for field goals in a game with three (last vs. Cal, 2017) With the kicks vs. Colorado, Molson has moved into a tie for 8th on the all-time UCLA field goal list (Chris Sailer 1995-98) with 33 career field goals. He has now hit 12 of the last 13 field goal attempts, with a 47-yard miss at USC in 2017, over the last two seasons.

*Boss Tagaloa made his first career start on offense (center). He had eight previous starts along the defensive line in 2017.

*Theo Howard, with three receptions vs. Colorado, has now caught a pass in each of his last 20 games.

*True freshman receiver Michael Ezeike caught his second career touchdown pass at Colorado. He caught his first career touchdown pass at Oklahoma. The season record for most scoring receptions by a true freshman is three which is held jointly by Thomas Duarte (2013) and Raymond Burks (1973).

*Linebacker Tyree Thompson tied his career-best with eight tackles vs Colorado.

*Linebacker Keisean Lucier-South totaled a career-best three tackles for loss vs Colorado. His previous high of 1.5 came in last season’s game vs Colorado.

*Demetric Felton had a career-best three receptions for 49 yards.

*The cumulative record of the teams which UCLA, now 0-4, has lost to this season is: 14-1 --- Cincinnati (4-0), Oklahoma (4-0), Fresno State (2-1), Colorado (4-0).

*The Bruins will host Washington (3-1) next week in the Rose Bowl on Saturday, Oct. 6. Time to be announced.
