UCLA Athletics Veteran Partnership
As a steadfast partner of the West Los Angeles VA Campus, UCLA Athletics is committed to serving the Veteran community of the Greater Los Angeles area. The department provides a breadth of recreational opportunities to the military and Veteran connected community, whether it be free admission for Veterans and their families to watch college baseball at Jackie Robinson Stadium, community events such as picnics, dinners, batting practice, or scholarships for young children and grandchildren of Veteran families to attend summer sport camps. UCLA Baseball
UCLA Baseball is proud to call Jackie Robinson Stadium, located on the West Los Angeles VA campus, their home. All Active Duty and Veteran Military members are welcome to join UCLA Baseball for upwards of 35 games per season on a complimentary basis. UCLA's Veteran of the Year
- Each year, UCLA honors our Veteran of the Year for their contributions to our community at a November football game.
UCLA Football Veteran & Armed Forces Appreciation
Each Fall, UCLA hosts our Annual Veteran & Armed Forces Appreciation game at the Rose Bowl for UCLA Football. All Veterans and Active Duty Service Members are eligible to receive a complimentary ticket, and are able to purchase up to eight additional tickets at 50% off. The game features a US military flyover, Veteran of the Year award presentation, Veteran recognitions, and military themed halftime show by the UCLA Marching Band, among other tributes to the brave men and women who serve and have served in our Armed Forces.
Jackie Robinson Day Fantasy Camp
Each April, in honor of Jackie Robinson Day, UCLA Baseball invites all Veterans out to Jackie Robinson Stadium to participate in an annual hitting and fielding practice event that celebrates the life and legacy of great Bruin and Veteran, Jackie Robinson. In addition to the on-field activities, UCLA Athletics provides apparel and meals for all attendees.

Heroes Golf Course Veteran Clinic & Tournament
Veterans joined the UCLA Men's & Women's Golf teams at the Heroes Golf Course on the West Los Angeles VA campus for a morning of golf instruction, followed by a tournament between Veterans!
