- Joshua Kelley rushed for a five-yard touchdown on UCLA’s first possession of the game, giving him a touchdown in nine consecutive games in which he’s played.
- Kelley totaled 53 yards rushing on 15 carries in his first game of the 2019 season.
- Redshirt freshman guard Alec Anderson, redshirt freshman wide receiver Kyle Philips, true freshman tight end Mike Martinez, and sophomore defensive lineman Elijah Wade all made their first career starts.
- Redshirt freshman tight end Greg Dulcich recorded his first career touchdown reception, a 20-yard grab in the third quarter.
- Redshirt freshman wide receiver Kyle Philips returned a punt for 30 yards in the first quarter, giving him 30+ yard returns in two of his first three career attempts.
- With a 30-yard punt return and a 24-yard reception, Kyle Philips was responsible for the two-longest all-purpose gains of the day for UCLA.
- Senior linebacker Krys Barnes led all players with 11 total tackles. He has led or co-led UCLA in tackles in both of the team’s games so far this season. He has two double-digit tackle games this season and six in his career.
- Barnes has registered 10 or more tackles in four of his last five games.
- Redshirt junior defensive lineman Osa Odighizuwa and senior linebacker Lokeni Toailoa each recorded career-highs in tackles with 10 and 7, respectively.
- UCLA limited the Aztecs to 80 yards rushing, the first time the Bruins have held an opponent under 100 yards on the ground since Nov. 12, 2016 against Oregon State.
- Senior kicker JJ Molson recorded two PATs to bring his career points total to 244, putting him four points away from tying Gaston Green for 10th-most in program history.
