Player Notes

-- Osa Odighizuwa, starting his 25th game in a row, recorded a sack in the first quarter.
-- Mitchell Agude is the only Bruin to have at least one tackle for loss in each of the first five games.
-- Dorian Thompson-Robinson threw a touchdown pass in the second quarter to give him at least one throwing score in 13 of his last 14 games and seven straight.
-- Thompson-Robinson has at least one passing and rushing touchdown in all three of his games this season, and for the sixth time in his career.
-- Thompson-Robinson moved into 10th on the UCLA career charts in total offense (rush and pass yards), passing Kevin Prince (2009-12, 5,001) for 10th (5,179).
-- Nine different Bruins have caught UCLA’s 10 touchdown passes on the year.

Team Notes

-- UCLA did not allow a first-quarter point for the first time this season, and for the first time since last Nov. 2 vs. Colorado.
-- The three first-half points allowed were the fewest given up since shutting out Cal over the first 30 minutes on Oct. 13, 2018.
-- The Bruins gave up a safety in the third quarter, their first safety allowed since Sept. 1, 2018, vs. Cincinnati.
-- UCLA forced multiple turnovers in a game for the first time since Oct. 13 and 20, 2018. The Bruins have forced five turnovers in the last two contests.
-- UCLA improved to 22-14-1 all-time against Arizona State, taking a 9-8 edge in the last 17 meetings. The Bruins’ triumph snapped a streak of four wins in a row for the home team. The victory was the first for UCLA in Tempe since 2014. It also marked the Bruins’ first road win since Stanford last season.
-- The Bruins are over .500 (3-2) for the first time since Oct. 21, 2017.
