Green Events: Look out for green events hosted by UCLA such as waste audits and old T-shirt swaps. Events will be posted on the Athletics page.
SAR: UCLA Athletics has partnered with the student-run, student-initiated organization Sustainability Action Research (SAR) to form the Green Games Research Team. Starting in 2019, Green Games has worked to foster a greener future in Athletics through conducting waste audits, creating green event templates, and writing UCLA Athletics’s first sustainability report. BELT: Bruin Environmental Leadership Team (BELT) is a club for student athletes passionate about creating a more sustainable athletic department. They have pushed for the use of more sustainable practices in the Acosta facility, including removing single use utensils and wasteful snack packaging.
