-- With his touchdown pass in the third quarter, senior quarterback Dorian Thompson-Robinson tied Troy Aikman with 41-career touchdown passes. Thompson-Robinson and Aikman are tied for seventh in school history in career passing touchdowns.ย
-- In his debut as a Bruin, junior running back Zach Charbonnet carried six times for 106 yards and three touchdowns, all in the first half.ย
--Charbonnet became the first Bruin since Joshua Kelley to rush for three touchdowns in a single game (3 vs. Arizona State on Oct. 26, 2019).
--Charbonnet became the first Bruin since Johnathan Franklin to rush for three touchdowns in a season-opener (3 vs. Rice on Aug. 30, 2012).
--Redshirt senior defensive lineman Datona Jackson recorded his first-career interception and first-career Division I turnover forced with an interception in the first quarter.ย
