Player Notes

-- With his three touchdown passes, quarterback Dorian Thompson-Robinson moved past Cory Paus for sixth place in UCLA history with 44-career passing touchdowns.
-- It’s the sixth-career game with at least three passing touchdowns for Thompson-Robinson and the first since he threw four against USC in 2020 (Dec. 12).
-- With his 260 passing yards, Thompson-Robinson moved past Troy Aikman and Tommy Maddox for seventh place on UCLA’s all-time passing yards list. 
-- Zach Charbonnet’s 12-yard touchdown run in the second quarter was his fourth score in two games as a Bruin. He now has 16-career rushing touchdowns.
-- Charbonnet has now rushed for at least 100 yards in each of his first two games as a Bruin. He has four 100-yard rushing performances in his career. 
--Brittain Brown’s touchdown in the fourth quarter was his second rushing touchdown in as many games. 
-- Brown and Charbonnet have combined to score six touchdowns in UCLA’s first two games this season.
-- Tight end Greg Dulcich’s 75-yard touchdown in the second quarter was the longest touchdown reception by a Bruin since Demetric Felton’s 94-yard score against Washington State in 2019 (Sept. 21).
-- Dulcich finished with 117 receiving yards, good for his third-career 100-yard performance. He has each of the last two 100-yard receiving games for the Bruins, as he racked up 167 yards against USC on Dec. 12, 2020.
-- Dulcich also extended his streak of games with at least one catch to nine.
-- Chase Cota’s touchdown in the third quarter was his first catch of the season. It was the sixth touchdown reception of his career.
-- Kyle Philips’ touchdown reception in the fourth quarter was his first of the season and eighth of his career.
-- Philips’ four-yard reception in the second quarter extended his streak of games with at least one catch to 20. 
-- Caleb Johnson’s interception in the third quarter was the first of his career.
-- Kazmeir Allen caught a 36-yard pass in the first quarter, his second-straight game with a 35+ yard catch. He hauled in a 44-yard touchdown last week against Hawai’i (Aug. 28). 
-- Bo Calvert recorded a 10-yard sack in the first quarter, the first sack of his career. 
-- Qwuantrezz Knight’s tackle-for-loss in the second quarter was his first TFL of the season. He has 17.5 TFL across his career.

Team Notes

– UCLA is 1-0 all-time against LSU. 
-- UCLA is now 19-15-4 all-time against SEC opponents and has won five of its last six game against SEC opponents. 
-- The Bruins out-rushed LSU, 199-48.
--The Bruins have now recorded an interception in each of the last six games dating back to the team’s victory over Arizona on Sept. 28, 2020.
-- The Bruins held the Tigers to just three rushing yards in the first half.
-- 20 Bruins recorded solo tackles.
