TEAM NOTES
• With the win over Colorado today, the Bruins now own a 13-5 edge in the all-time series. This was UCLA’s first series win in Boulder since the 2014 season.
• With the win over Colorado, UCLA has now won seven straight games. The last time it did so was in an 8-0 start to the 2005 season under then head coach Karl Dorrell. UCLA’s all-time winning streak is 20 straight games over the 1997-98 seasons.
• With the win over Colorado, UCLA has won six of its last seven road games (2022-win at Colorado, 2021-win at USC, lost at Utah, win at Washington, win at Arizona, win at Stanford, 2020-win at Arizona State).
• With the 45-10 win over Colorado today, UCLA has now won 43 straight games overall and 62 straight regular-season games when holding the opponent to less than 20 points. Its last such loss came at the hands of BYU, 17-16, in the 2007 Las Vegas Bowl. Its last regular-season loss was a 16-14 decision at Colorado in 2003.
• The Bruins have now won the first four games of the 2022 season ... the last time UCLA won four straight to start a season was in the 2015 season (Virginia, at UNLV, BYU, at Arizona) ... the last time it won five straight to open a season was in 2013 (Nevada, at Nebraska, New Mexico State, at Utah, Cal).
• UCLA outscored Colorado in the second half today 24-7 and has now outpointed the opposition 78-21 after halftime of games this season. During the seven-game win streak, UCLA has outscored opponents 171-37 in the second half of action.
• UCLA’s seven-game winning streak is among the longest in the nation. Clemson has the longest current streak with 10 after winning today over Wake Forest. Kentucky has a seven-game streak and plays later today. Coastal Carolina won earlier this week and also has a streak of seven straight wins. Minnesota is playing now and entered the day with six straight wins.
• With the 45-17 win today at Colorado, UCLA has now limited seven of its last 11 opponents to 20 points or fewer.
• This is the third game this season in which UCLA’s defense has limited the opponent to under 100 rushing yards (Colorado had 51 rushing yards – also Bowling Green 37, Alabama State 87. Last season, it held five opponents under 100 yards rushing. The Bruins have won each game.
• After rushing for 249 yards against Colorado, UCLA has now surpassed the 200-yard rushing mark in three of its four games in 2022 (also vs. Bowling Green-269 and Alabama State-220).
• UCLA’s next game is on Friday, Sept. 30 against Washington in the Rose Bowl. Start time is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. PT and the Pac-12 Conference contest will be broadcast on ESPN.

INDIVIDUAL NOTES
• The third quarter TD pass from Dorian Thompson-Robinson to Colson Yankoff was No. 69 of DTR’s career and moved him past Cade McNown (68, 1995-98) and into sole possession of second-place on the all-time school TD pass list. Thompson-Robinson now sits behind only Brett Hundley who had 75 touchdown passes during his Bruin career (2011-14).
• Zach Charbonnet ran for a career-high tying three TDs and recorded his ninth career 100-yard rushing game (9 carries for 104 yards) as a Bruin against Colorado. He is tied for 11th on the all-time UCLA 100-yard game rushing list with Maurice Jones-Drew, Kevin Nelson and Kermit Johnson. This is Charbonnet’s third three-touchdown game as a Bruin – in 2021, he had three rushing TDs against Hawai’i and Colorado. While at Michigan, he ran for three TDs in a game against Army in 2019.
• With his 19 completions in today’s game at Colorado (19-23 for 234 yards), Dorian Thompson-Robinson, now with 674 completions, moved past Drew Olson (2002-05) and into fourth on the all-time UCLA list. Third on that list is Cade McNown (1995-98) with 694. Brett Hundley (2011-14) is the all-time school leader with 837.
• Matt Sykes caught his first pass of the 2022 season for a 24-yard touchdown in the first quarter. It was his first career scoring reception. Sykes caught a career-high four passes in the game. Sykes became the 13th Bruin to score a touchdown this season.
• Dorian Thompson-Robinson started his 39th career game at Colorado to move into sole possession of third on the all-time UCLA quarterback starts list. Second on that list is Brett Hundley (2011-14), with 40. Cade McNown (1995-98) is the all-time leader, with 44 starts.
• Linebacker Laiatu Latu recorded three sacks, becoming the first Bruin to record at least three sacks in a game since Takkarist McKinley did so against Utah on Oct. 22, 2016.
• Safety Stephan Blaylock started his 35th straight game on Saturday at Colorado.
