Latu now has 23.5 sacks for his career which is tied for sixth on the all-time school list with Anthony Barr (2010-13) and Jamir Miller (1991-93). He has at least a half of a sack in eight of the 11 games this season. Latu’s 2.0 tackles for loss give him 20.5 for the season which is tied for sixth on the school list.

Ethan Garbers’ first-quarter TD pass to Hudson Habermehl gave him at least one scoring pass in each of his six career starts as a Bruin. His third-quarter scoring toss to T.J. Harden was his second of the game which marked the third time (also Stanford and Colorado) this season Garbers has thrown two scoring passes in a game. Garbers’ fourth quarter scoring pass to Habermehl was his third of the game and a new career-high total.
Hudson Habermehl caught his first scoring pass of the season in the first quarter against USC. It was his third career TD catch (also TD catches vs. Arizona and Alabama State in 2022). He added a second scoring reception in the fourth quarter.
Devin Kirkwood’s first-quarter interception was his first of the 2023 season. It was his second career interception (had one against Washington in 2021).
Logan Loya established a new career-best with eight receptions at USC. He also had seven catches in a game earlier this season against Colorado.
