- UCLA is 8-0 this season when scoring at least 25 points.
- With a win in the bowl game, Chip Kelly joins Jim Mora (2012-15), Terry Donahue (1984-88) and Henry "Red" Sanders (1952-55) as the only UCLA head coaches to lead teams to at least eight wins in at least three straight seasons.
- Under head coach Chip Kelly, UCLA is 27-7 when it rushes for at least 200 yards in a game.
- The Boise State game would be UCLA's fourth this season in which it did not commit a turnover (also USC, Arizona and Stanford).
- Hudson Habermehl’s 5-yard scoring reception in the first quarter was his third of the season. His two other scoring catches came against USC.
- Quarterback Collin Schlee made his second start of the season in the Starco Brands LA Bowl hosted by Gronk. His first start of the year came in Game 10 against Arizona State. The bowl game marked Schlee’s seventh game played of the 2023 season.
- After totaling 127 rushing yards against Boise State, Collin Schlee has now run for at least 45 yards in five games this season (also 51 vs. ASU, 46 at Arizona, 80 at Oregon State, 60 vs. North Carolina Central).
- The third quarter scoring pass by Ethan Garbers to Kyle Ford was his 10th of the season and his ninth in the last seven games. It marked the first touchdown reception by Ford as a Bruin.
- T.J. Harden’s third-quarter rushing touchdowns were his seventh and eighth of the season pushing him into the team lead in the category. He had previous single rushing scores against San Diego State, North Carolina Central, Oregon State, Stanford, Colorado and USC this season.
- Boise State’s second-quarter rushing touchdown was just the fourth allowed by the UCLA defense this season (others by North Carolina Central, Arizona State, USC).
- Boise State’s Ashton Jeanty recorded the first rushing play from scrimmage this season against the Bruin defense of over 20 yards with a 30-yard rush in the second quarter of tonight’s game. The previous long opponent rush in 2023 was 19 yards by Arizona's Jonah Coleman.
- Boise State’s rushing total of 215 yards was the most allowed on the ground this season by the Bruin defense. The previous opponent high was 133 yards rushing by Oregon State.
- After Boise State’s field goal drive on its first possession in today’s game, the Bruin defense did not surrender a touchdown on an opponent's first drive all season. Boise State, Cal, Colorado and Oregon State each tallied a field goal for the only opponent first-drive points on the season.
- With its win tonight in the Starco Brands LA Bowl hosted by Gronk, UCLA upped its all-time bowl record to 17-20-1. It marked UCLA’s first bowl win since a 40-35 decision over Kansas State in the Valero Alamo Bowl on Jan. 2, 2015.
- With his receptions tonight against Boise State, WR J.Michael Sturdivant has caught at least one pass in each of the past 25 games (13 with UCLA and 12 with California). He is the only Bruin to have at least one catch in each game this season.
- Alex Johnson’s fourth-quarter interception was his fifth of the season. He’s the first Bruin with five interceptions in a single season since 2009.
- Sturdivant’s 142 receiving yards were a career high, and the most in a single game by a Bruin receiver this year. His fourth-quarter TD grab was his fourth of the year
- Prior to this year, UCLA had most recently started three different quarterbacks in a season during the 2007 campaign. Ben Olson started Games 1, 2, 3, 5 and 6; Patrick Cowan Games 4, 7, 8, 9 and 12 and Osaar Rasshan Games 10, 11 and 13. In 2023, UCLA used Ethan Garbers, Collin Schlee and Dante Moore as starting quarterbacks.
- With one reception, Logan Loya moved into a tie for No. 15 in program history for single-season receptions (59).
