Grauer played four years of softball at Amador Valley High School in Pleasanton, Calif. โฆ was the 2014 CalHiSports.com Ms. Softball State Player of the Year, going 27-0 in the circle during her senior season with a 0.51 earned run average and 290 strikeouts in 191 1/3 innings โฆ also earned 2014 NHSCA and MaxPreps National Player of the Year honors โฆ helped the Dons to CIF North Coast Section Division I Championships as a senior and a freshman โฆ was a two-time MaxPreps All-American (2013-14) โฆ was the CalHiSports Junior and Sophomore of the Year for the state of California โฆ for her career, went 89-6 with 1,050 strikeouts โฆ coached by Teresa Borchard โฆ playedย travel ball with Sorcerer, with current UCLA teammate Kylee Perez, helping them to a seventh-place finish at 2013 PGF Nationals โฆ was a member of the Swedish National Softball Team, participating in the 2013 European Championships.

Born Johanna Annika Grauer in Walnut Creek, Calif. โฆ parents are Annika and George Grauer โฆ has an older brother, Markus โฆ chose to attend UCLA because it is the most successful athletic program in the country, as well as a top university โฆ favorites include actor Ben Stiller, the movie โZoolanderโ, the Chicago Cubs and the television show "The Office" โฆ things she likes the most about softball are the competition and the friendships she has been able to create โฆ hobbies include yoga and boxing โฆ biggest athletic thrill was signing a National Letter of Intent to UCLA โฆ favorite academic class is geographyย โฆ majoring in geography and environmental studiesย with a minor in Scandinavian studies.
