Taโamilo played four years of varsity softball at Vista Murrieta High School in Murrieta, Calif. โฆ was a four-time All-CIF honoree, earning First Team honors each of her last three seasons โฆ also received All-County and All-Southwestern League First Team accolades every year โฆ went 19-7 as a senior with a 0.74 earned run average and 275 strikeouts in 179 innings โฆ helped the Broncos to league titles in 2011 and 2012 โฆ was a team captain in each of her last three seasons โฆ coached by Dan Torres โฆ played travel ball with So Cal Athletics, helping them to a PGF National Championship in 2013 and a third-place finish in โ14.

Born Selina Ivasina Taโamilo in Anaheim, Calif. โฆ parents are Annie and Ed Taโamilo โฆ has two brothers, Sapule and Edward โฆ chose to attend UCLA because of the tradition and the foundation Bruin softball prides itself on โฆ favorites include actor Channing Tatum, actress Sandra Bullock, the movie โFridayโ and singer Drake โฆ things she likes the most about softball are being able to have fun and loving what she does โฆ biggest athletic thrill was hitting two consecutive home runs in a bracket game during PGF Nationals โฆ majoring in history.
