At Rutgers, Seales helped develop All-Big Ten Honorable Mention linebacker Dariel Djabome, who recorded 71 tackles, 4.5 tackles for loss, 2.0 sacks, two forced fumbles, and two fumble recoveries.
ย
In 2024, Seales was part of a James Madison staff that guided the Dukes to a 9-4 record and a 27-17 victory over Western Kentucky in the Boca Raton Bowl, marking the programโs first bowl championship. The Dukesโ defense led the Sun Belt and ranked among the nationโs best, finishing first in turnover margin (1.54), third in takeaways (29), sixth in fumble recoveries (12), seventh in both interceptions (17) and pass efficiency defense (111.48), 21st in scoring defense (20.5), and 23rd in total defense (321.8).
ย
Seales joined James Madison after spending the 2023 season at UConn in a similar role. Prior to that, he served as a defensive quality control coach at Holy Cross in 2022 under Chesney.
ย
During the 2022 season, Holy Cross went 11โ0 in the regular season for the third time in program history and finished with a school-best 12โ1 overall record after advancing to the FCS quarterfinals for the first time in more than 30 years. The Crusaders earned a No. 6 final ranking, highlighted by a Hail Mary win over FBS opponent Buffalo, an overtime victory against ranked Fordham, their first win over Harvard since 2000, and their first season sweep of Harvard and Yale.
ย
Seales played collegiately at Marist (2016-19) and Sacred Heart (2020-21), appearing in 48 career games. He helped Sacred Heart win consecutive Northeast Conference titles in 2020 and 2021 and earned All-Pioneer Football League Honorable Mention honors at Marist in 2018. He was also named a CoSIDA Academic All-District selection in 2021.
