Attended Rancho Cotate HS and played three years of varsity football … All-league, all-state, all-metro, team MVP and all-NorCal selection … Broke school record for single-season and career sacks … His senior season, he recorded 107 tackles, including 23 sacks for a total of 134 yards loss … Made 55 catches for 1,134 total receiving yards and nine touchdowns … As a junior, he was credited with 73 tackles, 14 sacks and one interception … Was also a member of the basketball and lacrosse teams.
