Transferred to Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo, Calif. for his redshirt sophomore season โฆ earned the starting QB job for the Mustangs, playing in 11 games and completing 92-of-162 passes for 1,305 yards and nine touchdowns against nine interceptions โฆ added 321 rushing yards and four touchdowns on 67 carries โฆ had his best statistical outing during his collegiate debut at San Diego on Aug. 30, setting or matching season highs in completions (18), passing yards (263), and longest rush (43 yards) while accounting for three touchdowns (two passing, one rushing) โฆ recorded a season-high three TD passes and a season-long 70-yard completion on an efficient 8-for-11 passing day against Western Oregon on Sept. 13 โฆ had a pair of scores on the ground and added a TD pass against Portland State on Nov. 1 โฆ passed for 200+ yards in three contests โฆ rushed for a season-high 142 yards, on 18 attempts, at Idaho State on Nov. 8 โฆ started nine games overall for Cal Poly.
