One of the best UCLA basketball players of the pre-Alcindor era, Bragg also was active in student and university projects as an undergraduate. He was Phi Beta Kappa as a junior and the recipient of several academic scholarships. Following college, Bragg became a U.S. Air Force officer and pilot, then an executive with Pauley Petroleum and Great Western Financial Corporation until his death at 51 in 1985.
