Earned a medical redshirt (arm)...played in the team's first eight games before being sidelined for the remainder of the season with an arm injury...scored four goals on 11 attempts...collected four steals, three earned exclusions, two blocks and one assist...scored his first collegiate goal against Pacific in the NorCal Tournament (Sept. 21)...also recorded one goal against Pepperdine (Sept. 21) and two goals versus Loyola Marymount (Oct. 9).

Four-year varsity water polo and swimming letterwinner at Newport Harbor High School under head coach Jason Lynch...captured CIF Southern Section Division I Player of the Year honors in 2007...also named 2007 Sunset League Player of the Year...gained Player of the Year honors from the Orange County Register and the Daily Pilot...helped lead Newport Harbor to the 2007 CIF-SS Div. I championship with an 11-3 win over Northwood...earned first-team California-Hawaii All-America honors...as a senior, led Newport Harbor with 81 goals and totaled 38 assists, the second-highest mark on the squad; also collected 69 steals...tallied one seven-goal game (vs. Rancho Buena Vista, Sept. 20) and two six-goal performances as a senior...served as team captain his senior season, earning team most valuable player accolades...helped guide Newport Harbor to the 2006 CIF-SS Div.
