Played in 30 of the 32 matches, making 15 starts โฆ was named honorable mention All-American and MPSF All-Academicย โฆ also named the MVP of the NCAA Tournament after scoring a game-high four goals in the 9-8 championship win over USC (Dec. 7)ย โฆ picked up his first career MPSF/Kap7 Player of the Week honors on Sept. 29 after scoring a game-high four goals and adding two assists to lead the top-ranked Bruins to a 17-9 win over No. 9 UC Irvineย โฆ he scored the eventual game-winning goal with 5:17 left in the third period and drew the defensive assignment on MPSF scoring leader Lovre Milos (4.67 gpg), holding him to two goalsย โฆ scored 41 goals (4th on the team) on 101 attempts, converting at a 40.6 percent rate โฆ his 1.41 goals per game average ranked 22nd in the MPSFย โฆย scored at least one goal in 18 matches, scoring multiple goals 12 times โฆ had a season- and career-high six goals in a victory over Redlands (Sept. 6) โฆ led the team in assists with 39 and was second in field blocks with 11 โฆ also had 14 steals and drew five exclusions.

Played in all 32 matches, one of only three Bruins to accomplish that feat, making 30 starts โฆ was named third team All-American, honorable mention All-MPSF and MPSF All-Academicย โฆย scored 38 goals (2nd on the team) on 120 attempts, converting at a 31.7 percent rate โฆ scored at least one goal in 23 matches, scoring multiple goals 11 times โฆ had a season-high four goals in a victory over Whittier (Sept. 14) โฆ led the team in assists with 62 and was second in field blocks with 15ย โฆ also sixth on the squad with 24 steals.
2012
Played in all 33 matches, one of only three Bruins to accomplish that feat, making 16 starts โฆ scored 37 goals (4th on the team) on 89 attempts, converting at a 41.6 percent rate โฆ scored at least one goal in 22 matches, scoring multiple goals 10 times โฆ scored at least one goal in the first nine games of his collegiate career โฆ had a season-high four goals in a victory over Chapman (Sept. 2) โฆ was third on the team in field blocks with 17 and also registered 19 assists and 16 steals while earning six exclusions.
Team USA
2015: McClintick was injured in a car accident during the offseason and was unable to play at the World University Games (July 2-14) in Gwangju, South Korea, but traveled with the team and served as Team USA's social media coordinator. 2013: Played in all eight games (182 minutes) for Team USA at the 2013 World University Games in Kazan, Russia (July 6-17) โฆ he scored six goals on 16 shots, converting at a 37.5 percent rate โฆ also led the team in assists (12) and field blocks (seven) while tallying three steals as the United States captured fifth place at the World University Games โฆ he also helped the USA to a fifth-place finish at the 2013 FINA Menโs Junior World Championships in Szombathely, Hungary (Aug. 12-18) โฆ the Americans went 5-2 at the Junior Worlds โฆ he played in seven games and tallied two goals.
High School
Four-year (2008-11) varsity water polo letterwinner at Agoura High School under head coach Dustin Litvak (current UCLA assistant coach) โฆ also lettered four times (2009-12) in swimming for coach Peter Schiavelli โฆ a four-year starter, McClintick was named second team All-Marmonte League and third team All-CIF as a freshman in 2008 โฆ was named first team All-Marmonte and second team All-CIF in 2009 โฆ as a junior in 2010, he was named first team All-League and All-CIF as the Chargers were the CIF Division IV Champions with McClintick setting a school record for assists โฆ as a senior in 2011, he was named first team All-Marmonte and League MVP while the Chargers repeated as CIF champions with McClintick being named CIF Division IV Player of the Year โฆ he also was named L.A. Daily News and Ventura County Star Player of the Year in 2011 while setting an AHS record for field blocks.

Full name: Daniel John McClintick โฆ Oct. 29, 1994 in La Jolla, Calif. โฆ his parents are John and Peggy McClintick โฆ has one younger brother, Will โฆ competed with the Los Angeles Water Polo Club โฆ placed second at the Junior Olympics in 2011 while being named a first team All-American โฆ the LAWPC won the U.S. Club Championship in 2010 โฆ lists winning his second consecutive CIF Championship as the biggest athletic thrill of his career โฆ has also competed with Youth and Junior National Training Teams (2010-12), traveling to Sicily, Italy, and Szombathely, Hungary for competition โฆ lists the Oklahoma City Thunderโs Kevin Durant as the athlete he most admires โฆ majoring in political science.ย
