Former CSUN track and field student-athlete Reggie Trotter enters his second season as a Volunteer Coach for the UCLA program.
Trotter competed at CSUN under now UCLA Director of Track & Field/Cross Country Avery Anderson and volunteer coach Bridget Anderson. He was teammates with UCLA Director of Operations Olympia Jewett. Trotter earned All-Big West honors as a high jumper in 2014, notching personal-best mark of 2.06m (6-09.00) in a runner-up performance at the Big West Outdoor Championships. Trotter also earned Junior College All-American honors (high jump) while competing at LA Valley College.ย
Trotter currently holds USATF Level 2 coaching status in jumps. He coached jumps and sprints at Marymount High School in 2018-19 , helping the team win a league championship. He coached several league champions, including the school record holder in the girlsโ triple jump (39-05.00).
He also coached at Moorpark College in 2018-19. He helped coach four State Meet finalists and 12 individual Regional qualifiers, with multiple student-athletes going on to receive NCAA scholarships.
