Was a regional qualifier and Big Ten medalist in the hammer throw ... Competed in nine meets during outdoor season ... Finished third in the hammer at Big Tens with a season-best mark of 70.04m (229-9) ... Was the secone time in his career that he broke the 70-meter mark ... Won the hammer throw at three meets, including the USC dual meet, Rafer Johnson/Jackie Joyner-Kersee Invite, and Jim Bush Legends Meet ... Had a mark of 69.95m (229-6) at the USC dual meet on May 4 ... Runner-up in the hammer at the 2025 Beach Opener, and was third at the Texas Relays ... Competed in four meets during indoor season, including the Big Ten Championships ... Finished fourth in the weight throw at the Husky Classic with a PR of 19.56m (64-2.25) ... That mark put him at No. 9 in UCLA's all-time indoor top-10 list ... Competed in the weight throw at Big Tens ... UCLAโ€™s top hammer thrower during the outdoor season, claiming nine of the top 10 marks during the 2024 campaign for the Bruins โ€ฆ Jumped into first on the programโ€™s all-time record list, throwing 71.03m (233-00) at the Pac-12 Championships to place third in the Conference โ€ฆ Became the first Bruin in school history to break the 70-meter mark โ€ฆ Placed 16th at the NCAA Championships (67.70m) in June ... Did not compete during the indoor season.

2023 ย 
Appeared in two meets during the indoor season โ€ฆ Threw a season-best mark in the weight throw (18.58m, 60-11.50) at the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Invitational, placing seventh in the meet โ€ฆ With the throw, Emig landed at 10th all-time on UCLAโ€™s indoor top 10 list ... Threw hammer in eight outdoor meets with the Bruins โ€ฆ Claimed the top seven marks of UCLAโ€™s season in the event โ€ฆ Made his debut at the Ben Brown Invitational in March, placing fourth in the hammer throw โ€ฆ Claimed first place at the Rafer Johnson-Jackie Joyner-Kersee Invitational (65.32m, 214-04) โ€ฆ Hit his season-best at the USC Dual Meet at home, throwing a team-best 67.23m (220-07) against the rival Trojans โ€ฆ Placed second at the meet ... Threw hammer at eight outdoor meets during his freshman season with the Bruins, picking up wins in the event in the West Coast Relays (65.80m, 215-10) and Ben Brown Invite (63.61m, 208-08) ... Set a new collegiate-best mark of 67.36m (221-00) at the Pac-12 Championships in May, placing fourth in the league with his throw ... That mark also cracked the all-time top 10 list for the Bruins.

2021 (De Anza Community College)
Third-ranked hammer thrower at the intercollegiate level โ€ฆ Competed for De Anza Community College โ€ฆ Threw in four meets in 2020, picking up a pair of individual victories and five top-4 finishes โ€ฆ Picked up wins in the hammer (45.93m, 150-8) and shot put (13.25m, 43-05.75) at the 2020 ARC Beaver Relays โ€ฆ Took second in the hammer at the Chabot Relays with a season-best mark of 48.90m (160-5).
