Appeared in seven pole vault competitions for UCLA during the 2023 outdoor season… Opened her season at the Ben Brown Invitational on March 10, placing 13th in the meet… Won her section at the Mt. SAC Relays on April 14, clearing 3.80m (12-05.50) Peaked at the right time, recording a season-best mark 4.05m (13-03.50) at the Pac-12 Championships… Finished 11th in the Conference with the mark before placing 33rd at the NCAA regional meet (3.97m, 13-00.25).

Born in Issaquah, Wash., to parents Teresa and Steve Serex … Has two younger siblings, Isabella (Bella) and Alexandra (Alex) … Chose to attend UCLA because it had everything she wanted athletically and academically and it felt like home when she stepped on campus … Enjoys skiing and spending time with family … Plans to take a Pre-Law track at UCLA.
