Selected the UCLA Student-Athlete of the Week after winning the long jump and scoring the clinching points in UCLA's dual-meet win over USC ... Posted a mark of 7.58m (24-10.5) on his final attempt to win the LJ at that USC meet, clinching the meet for the Bruins in dramatic fashion ... Made his outdoor debut at the Mt. SAC Relays, posting a mark of 7.11m (23-4) ... Did not appear after the USC meet due to injury ...ย Competed in three meets, two during outdoor season and one during indoor season ... Named to the UCLA Athletic Director's Honor Roll for fall, winter, and spring quarters.
