Full name: Macey Nicole Butler โฆ born in Manhattan Beach, Calif. โฆ parents are Dave and Chrissy Butler โฆ has two brothers, Jake and Luke, and one sister Emerson โฆ her father, Dave, played basketball at California and was inducted into the Cal Hall of Fame in 2011 and to the PAC 12 Hall of Honor in 2014 โฆ he was drafted by the Boston Celtics, ย then played professionally overseas โฆ her uncle, Greg Butler, played basketball at Stanford, and played in the NBA for both the New York Knicks and the Los Angeles Clippers โฆ says she chose UCLA because, โI felt at home as soon as I stepped on campus. I love the coaching staff, and the team camaraderie that they have established.โ โฆ lists her greatest athletic thrill as playing center court in the finals in front of 4,000 fans at the AVP Austin Open โฆ the athletes she admires most include Kerri Walsh Jennings and the late Kobe Bryant โฆ enjoys traveling, cooking, going to the beach, and spending time with friends and family โฆ major is undeclared.
