Freshman Mallory LaBreche and redshirt junior Ensley Aldenย placed 13th at the 2025 AVCA Fall Pairs National Championship on Nov. 9. The duo opened with a three-set win (18-21, 21-17, 15-7) in the first round overย North Alabama's Audrey Gauthier and Selma Robinson. The 18th-seeded duo advanced in the winner's bracketย after a 21-17, 21-17 upset win over TCU's 15th-seeded pair of Sofia Izuzquiza and Stacy Reeves. They fellย to second-seeded Avery Jackson and Brooke Rockwell of Stanford in a hard-fought three-setter, 18-21, 21-16, 12-15.ย They dropped another three-set heartbreaker to Cal Poly'sย Isabella Martinez and Logan Walter, 21-17, 19-21, 13-15. That landed them in the 13th-place bracket where they defeatedย Lily Dee Davis and Madison White of Texas, 21-18, 21-19. The Bruin tandem finished in a tie with LMU's Anna Pelloia and Magdalena Rabitsch, as the match was never played out.

It was always my dream to play here.โ โฆ lists her greatest athletic thrill as, "Winning the BVCA club championship in 2025 with MBSand as the dual came down to our fives pair in a third set." โฆ lists LeBron James, Simone Biles, and Serena Williams as the athletes she admires mostย โฆ enjoys shopping, pilates, hiking, and going to the beach with friends โฆ has yet to declare a major.
