Lee competed in two of the world’s premier amateur championships … shot a 5-over 147 (75-72) at The Women’s Amateur Championship at Muirfield in Scotland from June 22-27, finishing one stroke outside the match-play field … made her U.S. Women’s Amateur debut at The Honors Course in Ooltewah, Tenn., from Aug. 4-9, recording a 6-over 150 (75-75) during stroke play.
2025-26
Lee was named to the All-Big Ten First Team in her debut season at UCLA … ranked second on the team with a 72.6 scoring average and claimed the first victory of her collegiate career … competed in all 12 events, making 11 starts and playing 35 rounds … posted three top-10 finishes and a team-high six top-20 finishes … led UCLA with 16 under-par rounds and seven rounds in the 60s … tied for the team lead with 113 birdies and ranked second with three eagles … led UCLA with a 4.73 scoring average on par 5s … was UCLA’s top finisher in three of the team’s first four tournaments of the season … earned her first collegiate medalist honor in just her second event as a Bruin, finishing first in a field of 63 at the Windy City Collegiate Classic with an 8-under 208 (70-68-70) from Sept. 29-30 … the victory earned her first career Big Ten Player of the Week honor … tied for first through regulation in a field of 88 before losing in a playoff at the Therese Hession Regional Challenge, finishing with a 5-under 208 (69-69-70) from Feb. 1-3 … her runner-up finish at the Therese Hession Regional Challenge earned her Big Ten Player of the Week accolades … recorded her other top-10 finish at the Huntington Bank Collegiate, placing fourth with a 9-under 207 (71-69-67) from April 6-7 … led the team by tying for 16th at the Nanea Invitational with a 3-under 216 (69-72-75) from Oct. 27-29 … tied for 16th at the Bruin Wave Invitational with a 3-over 219 (77-66-76) from Feb. 23-24 … tied for 18th at the PING/ASU Invitational with an even-par 216 (70-75-71) from March 23-25 … tied for 38th at the NCAA Tallahassee Regional with a 9-over 225 (74-76-75) … 29/32 counting rounds.

Lee competed in six NCAA Division I tournaments and made four starts during her freshman season at Baylor … registered a 75.67 scoring average over 15 rounds, including two rounds under par … her best result of the season was a tie for 36th in a field of 96 at the PDI Intercollegiate, where she shot a 2-under 214 (70-73-71) from Feb. 2-4 … tied for 35th in a field of 72 at the Bruin Wave Invitational at Valencia Country Club with a 15-over 233 (81-76-76) from Feb. 24-25 … made her Baylor debut at the Waco River Classic at Cottonwood Golf Club from Sept. 16-17, finishing runner-up at 3-over (78-69) in a field of lower-division programs; the event does not count toward her career statistics … was penciled into the lineup for the first time at the White Sands Aggie Invitational, tying for 33rd at 11-over (77-77) in the two-day competition from Oct. 19-20 … 8/11 counting rounds.

Lee prepped at the Collegiate Academy of Seoul in South Korea … one of the most accomplished amateurs from South Korea, with 51 junior victories worldwide before signing with Baylor … at age 12 in 2019, claimed individual and team medals for South Korea at the Spirit International Amateur Golf Championship at Whispering Pines Golf Club as the youngest competitor in the 76-player field … made her debut at the prestigious Augusta National Women’s Amateur in March 2022, finishing four strokes outside the cut line … became the second 15-year-old to qualify for the 2022 U.S. Women’s Open after shooting a 139 in her qualifier at Dream Park Country Club in the Republic of Korea … won the 33rd Seoul Association President’s Golf Cup in 2022 … competed in the Junior Invitational at Sage Valley, one of junior golf’s most coveted events, in both 2022 and 2023.

Born Jeonghyun (Jen) Lee in Busan, South Korea … parents are Suyim Ji and Kihi Lee … favorite courses she has played are Augusta National Golf Club (Augusta, Ga.) and Sage Valley Golf Club (Graniteville, S.C.) … chose UCLA because “it provides excellent facilities, great coaches and a chance to compete at the highest level in collegiate golf” … sociology major.
