Perrett enters her second season as an assistant coach with UCLA’s rowing program in 2024-25.
Perrett arrived in Westwood ahead of the 2023-24 season after having served as an assistant coach for the past season at George Washington University (Washington, D.C.). She rowed for four seasons at Ohio State University from 2016-20 and will begin her fourth year as a collegiate rowing coach this fall.
Perrett, who rowed at Ohio State from 2016-20, most recently served as an assistant coach at George Washington University in Washington, D.C., during the 2022-23 school year. She helped the George Washington women’s rowing program to its first team championship at the Atlantic 10 Championships in 2023, as well as the team’s first appearance at the NCAA Championships. Her primary responsibilities as a coach at George Washington included working with the program’s walk-ons and assisting with recruiting student-athletes.
Perrett worked in a volunteer coach capacity with Ohio State’s rowing program in 2020-21 and 2021-22. While coaching at her alma mater, she helped guide the Buckeyes’ third varsity four crew to a second-place finish at the 2022 Big Ten Championship, improving a spot from the boat’s original seed.
A graduate of Ohio State in 2020, Perrett was a four-year letterwinner with the Buckeyes’ rowing program. She helped lead Ohio State to two Big Ten Conference titles during her time in Columbus. She was a part of the Buckeyes’ second varsity eight boat that finished in the top 10 at three straight NCAA Championships. Ohio State’s second varsity eight crew finished in fourth place in 2017 and in fifth place in 2019.
In addition to her collegiate rowing experience, Perrett served as a member of the USRowing U23 National Team in 2019. She won a bronze medal in the women’s eight at the U23 World Rowing Championship.
Perrett earned her undergraduate degree in biology from Ohio State and was honored as a “scholar-athlete” all four years in college.
