Competed in all five regular season events for the 2V8+ crew … Helped the crew to a victory in the six seat at the USC dual race (7:10.2) … Moved to the eight seat at the Rocky Top Invite, where the crew finished in first place in the finals (6:50.6) … Moved to the four seat at the Big Ten Invite … Rowed for both the 2V8+, in the three seat, and the 2V4+, in bow seat, at the UC San Diego dual regatta … At the Big Ten Championships, rowed bow seat for the 2V4+, where the crew placed fifth in the finals (8:19.8)... HONORS: Spring Academic All-Big Ten

2024-25
Opened the season in stern pair of the 2V8+, sitting in seven seat for the annual USC dual regatta… Moved into six seat for the San Diego Crew Classic, helping the second varsity eight to the grand final and fifth place overall… Claimed six seat in the 3V8+ for the Big Ten Invitational in Florida… Helped the Bruins to a pair of third-place finishes and a second place… Sat six seat in the first-place 3V8+ at the UCSD Triton Invitational… Wrapped the year in six seat of the third varsity eight at the Big Ten Championships… Helped UCLA to first place in the petite final of the conference regatta.

Attended Carrollton School of the Sacred Heart… Rowed for Miami Beach Rowing Club and Miami Rowing Club… Earned first, second and third place finishes at Summer Nationals.

Born and raised in Miami, Fla.… Is the daughter of George Vail… Has a younger brother, Colin (15)… Chose UCLA because she “wanted to attend a school with strong academics and athletics”… Enjoys swimming, hiking, listening to music and going to the beach… Business Economics major.
