NCAA champion Bridgette Marin-Valencia will serve as a student coach in 2026 while completing her postgraduate studies at UCLA.
Marin-Valencia started the final three NCAA Tournament games as a freshman in 2022, helping the Bruins capture the national championship. She totaled two goals and two assists that season while playing in 20 games. Marin-Valencia tied for the team lead in goals scored in 2024 with four and was second in points with 10. In her four-year career as a Bruin, she totaled eight goals and four assists in 61 games.
As a member of Mexico's Under-20 National Team, Marin-Valencia helped Mexico advance to the 2022 FIFA Under-20 World Cup. They also won a bronze medal at the 2022 Sud Ladies Cup.
Marin-Valencia earned her bachelor's degree in sociology in 2026 and is studying for a postgraduate certificate in project management.
