Appeared in all 12 regular season meets, the Big Ten Championships, and the NCAA Championships … At the NCAA Championships, joined relay teams for the 200 free relay (1:28.85, 18th), the 400 free relay (3:13.96, 17th), the 200 medley relay (1:35.99, 15th), and the 400 medley relay (3:32.15, 19th) … At the Big Ten Championships, swam in the 50 free (22.91, T-41st), the 100 free (49.32, 27th), the 200 free (1:47.82, 28th), and joined relay teams for the 200 free relay (1:28.07, 5th), the 400 free relay (3:13.02, 4th), the 800 free relay (7:06.17, 9th), and the 400 medley relay, setting a program record 3:29.97 (4th) … Earned a season-best finish of second place in the 100 free vs Iowa (51.07) … Contributed to five relay teams that earned regular season event victories.

Competed in eight regular season meets ... Recorded season-best times of 23.57 in the 50 free, 56.37 in the 100 fly, and 1:50.74 in the 200 free at the UNLV Invite ... Recorded a season-best time of 51.03 in the 100 free at Cal ... Contributed to 25 relay teams throughout the season, anchoring 13.

Earned four varsity letters in swimming at Los Alamos High School… Also earned varsity letters in Track & Field and Cross Country… three-time High School All-American… two-time Scholastic All-American… Three-time State Champion in the 100 Butterfly… Two-time State Champion in the 50 Freestyle… State Champion in the 200 Freestyle… Was named team captain for two years in high school.

Full Name: Anna Wetteland… Parents are Chris and Jen Wetteland…Decided to attend UCLA because “the UCLA team has the most infectious energy, and the culture here is unlike anything I’ve ever experienced”... greatest pre-UCLA athletic thrill was participating in relays, especially the 4x100 freestyle relay… Admires Sydney McLaughlin and Jason Lezak… Hobbies include crafting, dancing, and running… Sister Kelly is a triathlete at the University of Arizona.
