Was aย four-year letter winner in water polo and three years in swimming at Mater Dei High School โฆ waterย polo honors include, 2022-Athlete of the Year at Mater Dei HS, First Team All-CIF-Southern Section, First Team All-County, Mater Dei HS Team MVP, First Team All-League; 2021-Second Team All CIF, Third Team All-County, First Team All League; 2020-Most Coachable Player Mater Dei HS; 2019-Most Inspirational Player Mater Dei HS) โฆ has been part of the U.S. Development, Cadet, Youth, Junior, and Senior National Teams โฆ played club with Vanguard Aquatics โฆ earned Honorable Mention All-American honors at Vanguard โฆ also named Most Improved Swimmer at Mater Dei HS, All-CIF in swimming and earned the Leadership Award at Mater Dei HS for swimming โฆ was the salutatorianย for the Mater Dei HS Class of 2022.

Full name: Genoa Noreen Rossi โฆ born in Berkeley, Calif โฆ parents are Mark and Lisa Rossi โฆ has two brothers, Maximo (20) and Santino (16) โฆ brother,ย Maximo, is currently on the Menโs Water Polo team at UCLA โฆ chose UCLA becauseย of the outstanding water polo program, academics, and campus โฆ describes her greatest athletic thrill as, "during theย summer of 2022 when I competed with the USA Youth National Team in Serbia and became a World Champion. Seeing the excitement from all the hard work and dedication we put in to win this was the best feeling ever. I was so honored and grateful to be apart of such an amazing team and take home a gold medal.โ โฆ lists the U.S. Womenโs Water Polo National Team along with Nick Bosa, Misty May Treanor, Draymond Green, and Stephen Curryย as the athletes she most admires โฆ likes to play piano and beach volleyball in her spare time โฆ has yet to declare a major.ย
