Competed in the second varsity eight crew (2V8+) as a freshman โฆ rowed five seat in the 2V8+ in UCLAโs season-opening races against San Diego State (March 9), helping the Bruinsโ to a dual-meet win (March 9) โฆ also rowed five seat in the 2V8+ against Loyola Marymount (March 16), leading UCLA to victory โฆ rowed bow seat in the 2V8+ at the two-day San Diego Crew Classic (April 6-7), helping the Bruinsโ 2V8+ crew to a second-place finish on day one and into the Grand Final race on day two โฆ rowed five seat in the 2V8+ at the Windermere Cup in Seattle (May 4) โฆ rowed five seat in the 2V8+ at the annual crosstown showdown versus USC (May 11) โฆ rowed five seat in the 2V8+ at Pac-12 Championships, guided the Bruinsโ crew to a fourth-place finish (May 19).

Full name: Amanda Judith Alessandria โฆ born in Berkeley, Calif. โฆ is the older of George and Michelle Alessandriaโs two children โฆ has one younger brother, Giorgio, who signed a National Letter of Intent to play on the menโs water polo team at UCLA in the fall of 2019 โฆ undeclared major.
