Arif Kapasi joined the UCLA Athletics Department as the Associate Athletics Director of Compliance in August 2024.
As Associate Athletics Director of Compliance, he serves as the main compliance contact for Menโs Basketball, Menโs Soccer, Menโs Volleyball, Softball, and Womenโs Volleyball. He also oversees the Compliance Rules Education program for the Athletics Department.
Prior to joining UCLA, he served as the Associate Athletics Director of Compliance at California State University, Northridge (2019-2024). He began his Compliance career as the Compliance Coordinator at The Citadel (2015-16), and also served as the Assistant Director of Compliance at Lafayette College (2016-2019).
Kapasi earned his Bachelorโs from the University of South Carolina, and obtained his Juris Doctor from Charleston School of Law.
