David Jensen joined the UCLA Athletics Department as Director of Compliance in 2023.
As Director of Compliance, his duties include serving as the main compliance contact for football, womenโs gymnastics, and menโs and womenโs golf.
Prior to joining UCLA, Jensen obtained his Juris Doctor from Tulane Law School in 2017. While at Tulane, he interned as Compliance Specialist at the University of New Orleans during the 2015-16 academic year and earned a coveted summer externship at the NCAA in Enforcement in 2016. Jensen began his compliance career as Compliance Coordinator at Long Beach State University in 2018. Most recently, he served as Director of Compliance and Assistant Athletic Director, Compliance at the University of Arizona from 2019 to 2023.
The Southern California native lettered for four seasons (2007-2010) in baseball at Northwestern University. After graduating from Northwestern in 2010 with a degree in communications, Jensen played baseball professionally for a few years, highlighted by his time in the Los Angeles Dodgers organization from 2011 to 2012.
Jensen resides in Whittier with his wife, Olivia, and their two children, Briar and Barrett. He is an active member of the State Bar of California.
