Josh Irvin joined the UCLA staff in 2022 as a Recruiting Analyst.

Prior to joining UCLA, Irvin worked at Northern Arizona University where he was the defensive ends coach and recruiting coordinator. Before joining Chris Ball's staff in Flagstaff, Irvin spent 2018 with Humboldt State University, coaching the program’s receivers while also serving as the passing game coordinator. Irvin also served as the team’s recruiting coordinator.

Irvin also has experience at San Jose State University where he was a defensive graduate assistant and defensive quality control coach from August 2015 to April 2018. A graduate of Chapman University in Orange, Calif., Irvin played for the Panthers from 2011 to 2013 and served as a team captain before joining the coaching staff as defensive backs coach.
