Lindsey Jones, joined UCLA in January 2023 as its Senior Associate Athletics Director for Policy, Risk, and People. In this role, she is a member of the athletic department’s executive leadership team, overseeing legal affairs, risk management, and human resources. Lindsey acts as an advisor to the Director of Athletics and the liaison to the UCLA Office of Legal Affairs, Campus Title IX Office, Office of the Dean of Students, and Campus Human Resources, advising on matters involving legal affairs, risk management, contracts, regulatory compliance, employee relations, and organizational strategic planning. She also leads departmental responses to student-athlete conduct matters, has oversight of public records compliance, and advises on various legal, campus, and NCAA requirements.

Prior to joining UCLA, Lindsey built a diverse career spanning athletics, higher education, healthcare, legal affairs, and executive consulting. She served as a Legal Investigator, conducting administrative investigations into allegations of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and other workplace violations across a variety of industries. Before that, she was a Regional Director of Human Resources, leading employee and labor relations, regulatory compliance, and organizational strategy initiatives across west coast based hospitals and healthcare facilities.

Earlier in her career, Lindsey served as a Labor Relations Representative, where she first-chaired collective bargaining negotiations, represented the organization in PERB hearings and mediations, and led labor law compliance efforts.
