Ric has been a part of the Academic & Student Services staff since 2003. He started as an Academic Mentorfor football, then progressed to an Academic Counselor, Assistant Director of Academic & Student Servicesand finally his current position as the Associate Director of Academic & Student Services. His responsibilities include oversight of all Student Development Programing (Bruin Athletic Council, Wooden Leadership Academy, Career Networking, Community Outreach, Workshops, Welcome Back Picnic) Orientations, Academic Class Meetings, Academic Travel Coordinator, Mid Term Reports, Graduation and management o the Learning Center Computer Lab.
Originally from Wisconsin (yes, heโs a die-hard Green Bay Packer fan), Ric attended Simpson College, a DIII school in Iowa where he competed in Track & Field and Tennis and received his B.A. in Speech Communication/Theater Education. In 2000, Ric received his Masterโs Degree in Counseling from Cal State Dominquez Hills.
