Stan Cole

Stan Cole was a three-time All-America selection on UCLA's undefeated water polo teams of 1965-67, and was such a tremendous athlete in the water that after trying out for the Bruin swim team just to stay in shape, he won the conference 100-yard butterfly title. Cole was also on the gold-medal winning team at the 1967 Pan American Games and won eight All-America awards in AAU competition. He was a member of three U.S. Olympic water polo teams, including the 1972 squad that won a bronze medal.
