Senior Kiralee Hayashi (Kailua, HI) and sophomore Mohini Bhardwaj (Cincinnati, OH) will compete Sunday, May 16 at the World University Games Trials in Austin, TX for the right to represent the United States at the World University Games.
The two Bruins will join 13 others in the battle for four spots on the U.S. team. UCLA junior Heidi Moneymaker (Santa Rosa, CA) has already qualified for a spot on team by virtue of her third-place finish at the NCAA Championships in April.
The competition will take place at the Austin Convention Center at 8:00 pm Central time.
The World University Games will take place in Palma de Mallorca, Spain, from July 1-13.
