SEATTLE, Wash. - The UCLA men's tennis team opened play at the 1999 National Team Indoor Championships with a convincing 6-1 win over Southern Methodist. The Bruins captured the doubles point and five of six singles matches en route to their fifth-straight dual match victory and the tournament quarterfinals. UCLA faces No. 18 Washington on it's home court Friday, Feb. 19 at 8 p.m. at the Nordstrom Tennis Center. The Bruins defeated the Huskies, 5-2, just two days ago (Feb. 16) in a Pac-10 matchup.
