LOS ANGELES - This coming weekend is one of the busiest of the year on the UCLA campus. The men's and women's tennis teams will be hosting NCAA regionals, with the winners advancing to the NCAA championships. The baseball team is hoping to close strong and earn an NCAA regional berth, and the softball team closes the season hoping to clinch the opportunity to host an NCAA regional.

The men's tennis NCAA regional begins on Friday. UCLA will host Western Michigan at 1:00 p.m. at the Los Angeles Tennis Center, following the 10:00 a.m. match between Tulsa and San Diego State. Friday's winners play Saturday at 3:00 p.m., with the winner advancing to the NCAA Championships in Athens, GA.

The women's tennis NCAA regional begins on Saturday. UCLA will host Western Michigan at Noon at the Los Angeles Tennis Center, following the 9:00 a.m. match between South Alabama and Colorado. Saturday's winners play Sunday at Noon, with the winner advancing to the NCAA Championships in Gainesville, FL.

The baseball team, 28-27 overall and 12-9 in Pac-10 play, hosts the first-place Stanford Cardinal in the final three-game series of the year. A strong finish could help the Bruins earn an at-large berth in the 64-team NCAA regional bracket. The series begins Friday night at 6:00 p.m. at Jackie Robinson Stadium and continues Saturday at 1:00 p.m. (live on Fox Sports West 2) and Sunday at 1:00 p.m.

The No. 1-ranked softball team, 54-5 overall and 21-5 (first place) in the Pac-10, concludes the regular season Saturday afternoon with an important doubleheader against the No. 5 Washington Huskies. First pitch is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. UCLA is hoping to host one of the eight NCAA regionals, and a strong finish would assist that quest.
