LOS ANGELES - Mohini Bhardwaj won the all-around and UCLA swept the top three places in all four events Friday night as the Bruins beat Cal State Fullerton in women's gymnastics, 191.150 to 179.00, in the season opener for both squads.

Bhardwaj scored a career-high 38.525 points, led by a 9.85 for first place on the vault and a 9.825 for first place on the uneven bars. Bruin teammates Luisa Portocarrero won the balance beam at 9.80, and Lena Degteva captured the floor exercise at 9.675.

UCLA had the top six scores on the vault and bars.

The top scorer for injury-plagued Fullerton was Megan Berry with an all-around score of 36.15 led by a 9.375 on the balance beam, the Titans' best individual score of the evening.
