Walnut Creek, CA - UCLA senior Kiralee Hayashi has been named the Pacific-10 Conference Gymnast of the Week for February 1-7.

Hayashi, from Kailua, Hawaii, won the all-around with a season-high 39.15 in UCLA's second-place finish at the Chili's Invitational at Stanford. Hayashi also won the floor exercise with a season-best 9.9, tied for second on bars with a career-high tying 9.9, and tied for third on vault with a 9.75.

Hayashi's 9.9s increased her season average to team-bests of 9.838 on floor and 9.729 on bars. She is also the only Bruin to receive two 9.9 scores this season.

The award is the first ever for Hayashi and the first for a Bruin gymnast this season.
