
No. 9 Women's Soccer Rallies To Top TCU 1-0 At USD Invitational

SAN DIEGO, Calif. -- The No. 9 UCLA women's soccer team defeated TCU 1-0 this afternoon in the second day of the University of San Diego Puma Invitational.
Junior forward Tracey Milburn fired in the game-winner with 71:17 on the clock. Junior forward Staci Duncan made a pass to the left to Milburn, who then blasted in a low right shot.
The Bruins defense came up strong once again, with UCLA outshooting the Horned Frogs 18-2.
Sophomore goalkeeper CiCi Peterson needed to pull down only one save, while TCU netkeeper Keith-Ann Wagner grabbed seven.
The Bruins' record improves 8-2 and the Frogs fall to 6-4.
UCLA will be in action again this week when they host Arizona State on Friday, Oct. 8 at 7:30 pm at Spaulding Field.
