Notes: In perhaps the day's most highly anticipated match, the top- ranked Trojans proved they were worthy of their ranking, defeating the Bruins for the fourth time this season. USC led 5-2 at the half but the Bruins managed to fall within one with 4:56 remaining in the fourth quarter. The Trojans answered with two goals, recording a 7- 5 victory. With the win, the Trojans will advance to the first place championship match tomorrow.

Notes: The No. 2 Cardinal trailed the third-ranked Bears for the entire game. Today's matchup was the fourth meeting between Cal and Stanford and the second win for the Bears. California will advance to the first place championship match versus top- ranked USC tomorrow.
