LOS ANGELES - The 10th-ranked UCLA women's basketball team dominated cross-town rival USC in every facet of the game, winning by a score of 94-53 in front of a UCLA women's basketball record crowd of 9,530.

The Bruins outshot (62.7%-29.9%) and outrebounded (42-33) the injury-riddled Trojans, who never led in the ballgame. UCLA played the first half on fire, jumping out to a 12-3 lead early and shooting a blistering 75% (21-28) from the field. The Trojans, meanwhile, shot just 27.3% in the first stanza and trailed at halftime 49-20. USC never got closer than 23 points in the second half.

Junior forward Maylana Martin led five Bruins in double-figure scoring with 18 points on 9-10 shooting. Martin also had five steals and six rebounds in just 21 minutes. Also scoring in double-digits were Ayesha Rembert with a season-high 14 off the bench, Carly Funicello with 13 off the bench, LaCresha Flannigan with 12 and Janae Hubbard with 10 and eight rebounds.

Tiffany Elmore led USC with 16 points, and Tashara Carter contributed 15. Senior center Adrain Williams played just four minutes before going down with an ankle injury.

The win was UCLA's third straight against USC.
